Supercharging Science

Science Diffusion is a science communication agency based in the UK. We are a small, close-knit team that creates creative, engaging, and impactful ways to communicate science. We work with individual researchers, institutes and companies to increase the visibility and accessibility of research and education.

Having worked on over 2,000 communication projects to date, we are at the forefront of new and creative strategies to communicate complex scientific research and data in a direct, insightful and engaging way for all. Our team has over 25 years of experience in disseminating research via print, audio and video.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about science and research, and we are passionate about ensuring our communication is both informative and entertaining.

Success Stories

We were looking for different ways to communicate our findings in a broader and more accessible way, particularly since Covid made it impossible to go and talk to people, which is what we’d normally do. I was attracted to Science Diffusion by having a new set of eyes look at our research and extract what they thought were the most important and interesting aspects, since we’ve been working on it for a few years it was nice getting a fresher perspective. Overall working with Science Diffusion and SciPod was a really rewarding and enjoyable experience.

The write up by Science Diffusion is a real joy to read, and I feel that it actually explains a complex reaction in a very understandable way – to a diverse audience, which I could never do. This is the kind of thing us scientists can only hope will occur – and thanks to Dr Catherine Deeprose and colleagues at Science Diffusion and Scientia – these messages are truly becoming general knowledge around the globe. It is an amazing endeavour, and I am very grateful to Science Diffusion for doing this.

Professor Michael O’Donnell

We were already looking for ways to communicate with the public and then we came across Scientia, which is an easy way to share important research accurately, widely, and with high quality. Science communication is so important but not always easy for researchers to do, and Science Diffusion and Scientia made it really simple to accomplish it. The article production was really straight forward and required a lot less of our time than expected, any changes to make were addressed quickly and well. I feel we got a great “bang for our buck” and have recently been contacted by a news group looking to report on our research because of the Scientia article, so the return on investment is really impressive already! I would definitely recommend Science Diffusion and Scientia to anyone with a passion, need, or desire to communicate their science beyond traditional journals.
